Although we were unaware of gate pick ,which lead to Dylan getting to start after all other riders, he did great! He fought his way from 16th to finish in 4th! What a trooper! The next race he should have got 4th pick at the gate however, dad and him weren't paying attention to other kids already at the gate! This race doesn't announce the next race. They tell you your race number at the beginning of practice but then you are supposed to watch each race to see when you go up. Anyways, Dylan ran over to gate only to be last again! He started behind a full gate but again plucked each rider one by one to finish in 4th! We are very proud of him making it up that far in a 3 lap race.

Dylan rode with great speed and confidence at this year event. Last year was his first year of racing but wow how he has really stepped it up! We were very proud of our confident little man! He was second out of the gate but never let the first place dude get out of his sights and ended up with first place at the checkered flag! Way to go "DILL"!
