Personal History
Im 15 years old and live in Riverton Wyoming. I started riding dirt bikes when i was 6 and was getting faster all the time. my parents would have to pry me off my bike to eat lunch and dinner almost every day. My dad signed me up to race when i was 9 and was racing 65cc. in the wyoming curcuit we usually have 9 or 10 races a year. it was the the 7th race of the season and my racing life came to a crying stop. i slid out on a flat corner in a concrete tunnel and was slammed into the wall by 5 other racers. out of every rider in the pile up i was the one who got the worst of it. i suffered a compound fracture in my wrist and cut through 2 main tendons in my fingers. after 3 months in the hospital they came to the conclusion that they had to amputate my ring finger. I thought motocross was never to be seen again in my life but a year and a half later my dad bought me a 85cc and told him i was going to race and no one could stop me. my first year back was rough and hard but the next coulpe years i was moved to 85 A class. my last year on my 85 i won 1st overall in the A class and in the supermini class. when i got a 250 it was hard to get used to but i managed and didnt do good my first year. i ended up 7th overall in 250 C class and my second year i started out in 250 C class but got bumped up to B class 2 races into the season and in the B class ended up 5th overall. my family is born off of Motocross and Snowmobiliing. we ride snowmobiles every weekend during winter and are very good at it.
Riding Goals
This coming year i would like to really focus to it and put 150% into the sport this year. i want to train hard, ride hard and race harder than i ever have in my whole life. I feel like i have the 250 B class in the bag this year and can succeed to win. if i come out of this next season 3rd or better in 250 B class i am planning to qualify for Loretta Lynns and Ponca City amateur races.
