Personal History

My name is Dustin Ballesteros and I am a 30-year-old father of two. I work a full-time job as a foreman for a construction company. Once work is done, and the family is taken care of, I dedicate all my spare time to my riding and training. My love for racing dirt bikes, started at the age of 12 and lasted through high school, but unfortunately, fizzled out due to lack of money. I am proud to say that two years ago I reignited that flame and have been grinding hard ever since. Over 24 long months I’ve experienced highs, lows, broken bones, but most of all I clinched my first two series championships. And I’m not done yet.

Riding Goals

I ride and race my dirtbike because it is a part of who I am. It doesn’t matter what’s going on around me, there is just something about being on my dirtbike that puts me at ease. I love everything about it, from the feeling of adrenaline being on the gate, to the feeling of making passes throughout a Moto, and most of all securing those Moto wins. I just love the sport and the hard work and dedication that I put into my riding motivates and set an example for my kids. I recently made the transition to the C class and am competing in the road to Mammoth series this year.. My goal for this 2025 series is to secure a top five finish at Mammoth. Then Continue my training and in 2026 return to Mammoth and secure in amateur national title.

Competitive Highlights

I secured a championship in the vet, beginner class along with the 450 beginner class for the 2024 summer Sunday series.

For 2025 my first race was at Glen Helen raceway and I finished 15th overall in the 30+ C class, and ended up breaking my back and received a DNF for the 450 C class.

I am back to 100% as of now, and have my eyes set on the top of my classes. More wins to come without a doubt.
