Personal History

My name is Dustin Adams, I'm 46 years old, and I ride in the 40+ "C" class.  I didn't start riding until I was in my late 20's, it was something my parents were very against.  I've always loved dirt bikes, I remember buying a helmet when I was 12 and wearing it around the house for a whole weekend in an effort to get them to let me buy a bike (it didn't work).

Once I did get a bike, it was on!  I look forward to it cll the time, ride as often as I can, and walk out the garage at least once a week to look at my bike.  I ride with a group of friends that have been doing it since they were teens, and we all race in the Old Timers MX series.

Riding Goals

My riding goal is to get in the "B" class for my age bracket, my results have been improving every year.  My two main focus' areas are;

1) Not riding over my head.  I often injured myself trying to keep up with my faster buddies.  The setbacks and fear really halted any improvement, and cut down any riding time.  I've taken the mantra "I can't get better if I'm broken" to heart.

2) Ride, ride, ride.  I try to go to a clinic every year, and spend the season working on the techniques I learn.

Competitive Highlights

*2017 WOTMX I scored my first moto win, and went 4, 5, 1, 2, 6 (in 2nd place and got a flat) for the weekend.

*2016 at the BCOTMX race I posted my first top 5 moto in my class.
