Personal History
Youtube "Denden0185" to catch my most up to date practice and race videos! Thank you for stopping by my page!
My name is Dennis Sachaschik (Suh-hey-check. Sounds way easier than it looks haha)
I currently work full time for Caterpillar. I am a Tool Designer and working on an engineering degree at Purdue Calument, IN. Recently in march I have received my first Patent with the company and it has been an exciting experience. My knowledge in manufacturing definitely gives me an edge in motocross simply due to my heavy understanding of the way things work and troubleshooting. I truely feel I will understand my bike in such a way that it becomes an extension to my body. This is also a huge advantage to any sponsors that I represent. My creativity and engineering background will surely make me a valuable asset to the team. I recently started racing because it is an itch that just won't die. I used to ride when I was 15, but quit after a neck injury. I followed up playing Paintball Competitively for over 10 years. During this period the thought of motocross has never left my mind. I need to do this and I'm going to do well. I started riding in May 2013 and plan on continuing to work on my skills 4 days a week at the track. While I tower over other riders at 6'3, I actually enjoy the fact that I am one of the tallest riders on the track. I love any opportunity to prove that different and standout can win races too!
Riding Goals
Top 10 finishes for the remainder of the Arsenal series at Joliet MX.
Expand my competitive nature to other tracks to begin to show off that not only did I start racing at age 28, but proved that with mind over body you can accomplish anything.
