So far I've raced 19 events this year. I have 13 wins in the 65 SR class and 1 win in 85 JR. Hope to finish the year strong.

I never was comfortable on my KTM 85, so when I rode my friend Jayce's KX85 I had to make the change. The KX fit me better and I feel a lot more comfortable riding it. I hope to pick up my performance in the 85 class now! Time will tell!

Attended 2 day Manga Racing school at SoilMX over the Easter weekend. Weather was questionable at first, but ended up being a great weekend. Hope to use the training to improve my skills in cornering, breaking, jumping and starts. Would recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their performance.

Crossroads MX located in Mason, IL held their 2008 awards banquet on Saturday, Jan. 31. Drew Boyer received 6 awards including the 2008 Crossroads Youth Championship. The 5 other awards received were:
- 1st Place Illini Super Series 50cc SR class – 10 race series between Crossroads MX, Mason, IL and Lincoln Trails Motosports, Casey, IL. Drew won 5 of the 10 races.
- 2nd Place Stateline Summer Series 50cc SR class – 6 race series between Crossroads MX, Mason, IL and Little Sturgis Motoplex, Stugis, KY. Drew won 2 of 5 races competed in, missed one race with broke finger.
