Personal History
My name is Drew Boyer. I'm 10 years old and in the 4rd grade. I started riding dirt bikes at age 4 and started racing at age 7. I rode my first complete year on 65's this past season making the podium over 70% of my races. I raced my 85 a few times at the beginning of the season, but decided to focus on my 65 in 2009. I have kept very busy the past 12 months racing my 65 in 32 events this year and my 85 in 10 events. I like racing as much as I can, but every once in a while enjoy a weekend off. Through the winter this year I plan on riding a few indoor events and traveling to Monster Mountain to keep me active until the outdoor season begins again. I enjoy outdoor motocross racing better than areacross.
I wrapped up the 2009 season with 6 wins, Illini Super Series 65JR championship and Cross Roads MX 65JR track championship. I also ended up 5th in District 17 points in 65JR class.
Riding Goals
This coming year my goal is to practice more. Hopefully I will be ready to go to some Loretta Lynn qualifiers next spring.
For the 2010 season I'm will be moving up to the 65SR class and will also compete a full season in 85JR. I need to pick it up on my 85 to be as competitive as I am on my 65, so I have a lot of work to do on my 85. I can't wait for the 2010 season!!
