Rider Updates

I have been very busy since my last post. I raced in the Oklahoma State Series at the following tracks:
Motocity MX Park on April 28th and placed 11th in the Schoolboy class and 4th in the Four Stroke class
Reynard Raceway on May 26th and placed 4th in the Schoolboy class and 1st in the Four Stroke class
Ponca City on June 9th and placed 4th in the Schoolboy class and 5th in the Four Stroke class
I also raced an Area Qualifier at Ponca City and qualified in the 250 Mod class on May 4th and 5th.
On June 1st and 2nd I raced the Regional Qualifier for Loretta Lynns and placed 8th in the 250 C Limited class. Very disappointed I was so close to qualifying but just means I need to keep pushing forward.
Inbetween all of these races I have been training at RTC (Reynard Training Complex). My results are showing due to the awesome training I am getting and only I can push myself and make myself a better racer. Stay tuned for more updates.

Rode in some pretty tuff classes this weekend and ended up with a 4th overall in the Open Outlaw class and 6th overall in Schoolboy. Felt so good out there and these classes are only going to push me to be a better a faster rider.

This past weekend was great! Got the hole shot every moto and lead the whole race. Pumped about this next weekend, Oklahoma state race. I'll keep you posted on results.

What an amazing week last week was at Oakhill GNC International Championship! Started off a little slow but managed to pull off bringing home 3 trophies! Placed 5th in the 450 Stk Nov, 8th in the 450 Mod Nov, 9th in the 250 Mod Nov and 13th in the 250 Stk Nov. Good way to start the year out. Gotta keep pushing forward and get ready for Lorretta's.

Went to Oakhill and raced in the Texas Winter Series and had great first Motos. Placed 2nd in 450 Nov and 6th in 250 Nov in the first moto. Then 2nd motos came around didnt get a good start in 450 Nov and placed 7th with a 3rd overall. In 250 Nov came out 5th in start, went down in the first corner and then 2 bikes collided over a jump right in front of me so of course I went down. Was in last place (36) moved my way up to 22nd and placed 15th overall. Sure wasnt the results I wanted but I got to keep my head on straight and push forward to the next race which is the LLQ at Reynard Raceway.

Had a great weekend of riding, went to Oakhill Raceway to ride with some good friends. Kid ran into me and punctured my right fork. Hope to get it fixed by this weekend so I can go somewhere to race but besides that felt good and very pumped for the National there in March.

Had a great wknd in Guthrie at the Lazy E Kicker Arenacross! Saturday night placed 7th in the 250 Novice class out of 41 riders and had a bad heat in the Open Outlaw class. Sunday I placed 3rd in the 250 Novice class and 10th in the Open Outlaw class. No races planned for the upcoming weekend but will be riding somewhere! Next race will be at Underground for the Texas Winter Series!

Had a great weekend in Springfield this weekend racing Motorhead Events Arenacross! Friday night placed 1st in 450 Nov and 2nd in 250 Nov. Saturday night placed 2nd in 450 Nov and 2nd in 250 Nov. Looking forward to another weekend of arenacross at Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Ok for the Kicker Arenacross! So pumped about this year, just got a new 2013 YZF 250, the power is great and it feels and handles great due to suspension by Reynard Modifications.

It's been a long time since I have updated. In Sept of last year I broke both ankles at Reynard Raceway and was out until Feb. In that time I grew so much that I had to start riding big bikes. Its going great so far. In our Oklahoma State Championship Series I placed 5th overall in 250 Nov and 2nd overall in 125 2stroke. Just raced the Ponca City MX Championship and placed a 13th in 250 Stock C, 13th in 2 stroke open and a 31st in 250 Mod C. I crashed in the Mod class trying to make a pass which would have put me in 11th, I was pretty bummed, but I have next year.
Going to Texas for their state series in Sept, so pumped about going and getting to race on some Texas tracks! I will keep you posted on results!
