Personal History
I take great pride in sharing the story of my family, particularly because of my incredible mother. As a single parent, she serves as a constant source of inspiration, having overcome the challenges of 9/11, a reminder that tomorrow is not promised. Her resilience fuels my drive to be the best version of myself. My passion for motocross is a testament to her support, as she encourages me to pursue my dreams wholeheartedly.
Every day, I eagerly hit the local tracks, honing my skills on the bike while sharpening my mental focus. Summer camps in New Hampshire, under the guidance of my ex-professional trainer, further refine my abilities. Off the track, I maintain a rigorous routine of healthy eating and exercise, supplementing my homeschool curriculum with strength-building workouts.
Last September, a downhill mountain biking mishap led to major surgery, with 13 screws and 2 metal plates implanted in my arm for recovery. Despite this setback, I recently underwent a successful procedure in April to remove the hardware. Now, as I heal, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming season, to return to the track and prove the resilience I've shown in overcoming adversity.
Riding Goals
People ask what my motivation behind my passion for riding is. For me, it's more than just a sport—it's a source of confidence and focus that I struggle to find elsewhere, especially with my ADHD. Riding gives me a sense of empowerment and clarity that no other activities can match.
After missing the latter part of the previous season due to my arm injury and subsequent surgery, my goal for this year is to dive back into the sport. Every day, I am determined to push my limits and strive for excellence, continuously improving as a rider.
Looking ahead, I am thrilled to set my sights on a new challenge: training for the Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Championship. The prospect of competing at such a prestigious event fills me with excitement and determination to elevate my skills even further.
