Personal History
I am currently civil engineer for a large firm in Ann Arbor, MI and I have worked there for four years. I am a hard and dedicated worker.
I have been racing motocross since I was 5 years old. I grew up in Florida and moved to Michigan when I was 14 years old. I won state titles when I was younger and raced the Amateaur Loretta Lynn's race while I was living Florida. I now race because I love it and it is fun. I decided to take my racing up to the next level again and qualified for Loretta Lynn's this past summer. I was able to finish in the top 15 for the 35+ (which consumed of a lot of ex pros) and the 30+. My plan is to qualify again this year and hopefully place in the top ten!
Some of my other hobbies include wakeboarding, golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, and working out.
I raced Snocross for about 7 years winning many different titles. I raced for Artic Cat, Polaris, and SKi-Doo. I was also sponsored by Smith, Arctiva, Z1R, and Woody's. Through dirt bikes, I am sponsored by US27 Motorsports, Bell Helmets, Scott Goggles, and Dunlop tires. Being a previously sponsored athlete I know how to support the products in a positive conduct.
Riding Goals
I am constantly setting new goals for myself as a racer. When I go to a new track, I walk the track and decide what my goals are going to be for that day. I do my best to accomplish them to have that great feeling of achievement. When returning to track, I always set new goals. I try new jumps and practice corner speed in corners that I may need improvement in. My goals this year were to work on my holeshots, corner speed, and enducrance, always looking for the win. I trained very hard for Loretta Lynn's this year, which paid off when I raced all the local events every weekend. Next year, my goals will be to win the 30+ and 35+ locally and finish in the top 10 and Loretta Lynn's. My long term goal for riding motocross is to ride as long as I can and to have fun!
