Personal History
My name is Dominic Griffith and I just turned 14 years old. I've lived in Vineland, NJ my whole life. My first race was 8 years ago at the age of 5. My dad bought me a Honda CRF50 and then my dirtbike got stolen. My dad went out and bought me another one so I could finish the race season. My parents and my older brother have always supported me. Since I was a kid I always wanted to be fast and tried hard to win. My entire family goes to the races in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. My Dad and me traveled to South Carolina and Florida. Now I compete in 3 different series. We have spent a lot of weekends away from home but everyone in the family loves racing so much. I have to do really good in school to be allowed to race. I have applied to the Automotive Technology Program next year when I enter high school.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to try to practice every chance I get even if it's in the cold. I want to practice as much as I can to get better and also because I really enjoy being outdoors and riding with my friends. This year I will be on the front line in the 14-16 Supermini class. I am hoping to win another championship. The competition is getting faster. I ask for my bike to be in top performance and it takes a lot of parts and adjustments always. In 2020 and 2021, I was able to go to one GNCC race each year. In 2022, I went to 2 races and actually placed in the top 10 both times. For 2023, I dream to compete in a lot more of the races in the GNCC series. So far, I am going to race in PA, NY and NJ for the District 6 and ECEA series. There's going to be a lot of new tracks that no one will be used to so I hope to have a good advantage to win 1st place for some of the races.
