Personal History

I started racing at 18 years of age. From my mother’s side all my family raced. My Uncle Doolcie Engels was also a Namibian champion and all my nephews raced two wheels. As a boy I started riding in the dunes, and with practice I got better and better until I decided to do motocross. Quads are easy to ride but to go fast is something else. You need to be extremely fit because it’s heavy and also techniques differ. There are different riding styles but fitness is one of the biggest requirements.

Riding Goals

I spent 2010 racing in South Africa and will relocate to the US during December.  I will be based in Georgia for the 2011 season.

2011 Race Classes will be SORCS, SCCS, the Regional MX Series in GA, as well as individual GNCC and AMA ATV MX events that will be held in GA and neighboring States.  As soon as the 2011 racing schedule has been posted I will have it updated.

My goal is always to be the best, come out on top and win, promote my sponsors not just through my results but at every opportunity I get, and be a good example to fellow competitors and especially the young riders.

As soon as we have all 2010 video coverage we will have footage posted here.

Thanks for taking the time to look.
