Personal History

My name is Dillon Winiecki.I am 22 years old and was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. I work as an EMT on an ambulance and I am looking to get hired as a fire fighter soon. My parents bought me  my first bike when I was 10 years old. Shortly after that, I began racing my KX80. I quickly started doing well and that is all when it started. My love for the sport began. All I thought about was racing and riding. I soon moved up to a 125. I raced my 125 from age 13-16.

Towards the end of high school, I started to show potential in Football. I stopped racing my junior year to prevent injury for football. All I wanted to do was go to college and football was my ticket to do so. In 2008 I graduated high school and moved on to play football at Mesa College. I continued on transferring to a bigger and better school, Arizona State University. Playing football at ASU was one of the most amazing things I had ever done, but something still wasn't the same. I missed my bike. I finished up with football and bought a 450. I have had it for about a year now and I am getting back into racing.

Riding Goals

A few of my most important goals are as fallows:

I would like to be a more Godly man, as a husband and as a dad.

I would like to ride with my family as much as posible and really show them what the racing community is about.

I would like to get hired as a structure fire fighter and start my career.

I would like to race as often as I can and get better at it every time.

Competitive Highlights

My most recent highlight was my last race. I had not raced in 5 years before this last race and was pretty nurvous. A few of the Fire Fighter guys who I ride with told me I should go down and start racing again with them. So I did.

I signed up for the open B class. It was a 55 minute race of half motocross, half single track. It ended up being the hardest race I have ever done, But I came out with the win. It wa very exciting to be able to share the win with my family. I also proved to my self that I am a much better rider than a B class rider.
