Personal History

  • My name is Diesel Geerdts and I have been riding since I was 4 years old.  Motocross is my life and my goal is to become pro by the age of 16.  I live in Bethel, AK where there is no tracks to practice on.  I ride in my yard for hours on end trying to perfect my riding technique. I have three Alaska state titles and I ride alot down states where I placed 1st in 2014 at the Washougal Nationals in the 85cc class.  Living out in bush Alaska is very hard to pursue this dream of mine due to the expenses. The only way out of my home town is by air.  There are no roads in or out of here.  A year and a half ago I was in a very bad motorcross accient. I suffered contusions on the brain along with many petechiae bleeds on my brain as well.  I was in the hospital for three months where I had to learn to do everything over again. This made me realize how important life is but I also realized that motocross is my true passion and life!  So please if you can help me reach my dream I will forever be greatful.  I want everyone to know with hard work and determination ANYTHING is possible.

Riding Goals

My ultimate goal is to become pro by the age of 16.  In the mean time my goals are to train and work hard on my riding technique and to never give up.  Due to the fact that I live in Alaska and my racing season is so short I have to work extra hard in the short time that I have.  This only pushes me harder and intensifies my desire to become what I know I can be and that IS pro by 16!
