Personal History
Hi my name is Devin Watson I'm 21 years old I ride and race 2015 yz250. But it all began 4 years ago when I first got my bike it was a 2008 Honda crf150r and I was just a trailer rider then but 2years down the road sold her and got a 2001 yz250. I use to just trail ride do hill climbs jump logs just free riding until 2015 came along I didn't want to race until I was ready and I was this year I started a lil late but that's ok practice make perfect for next year.
Riding Goals
LMy race goals r. To come to the 1st place finish in stead of getting 4th and5th my old bike was to old to handle rough aggressive riding and i moving up on a 2015yz250 for next season races can't wait to show what I have learned this winter and trained so hard for. I think I can do way better since this bike is new and has no problems so i know I'm good and im so movated each race do pumped and adraline going I'll be running 250b in the 2016 upcoming events!!
Competitive Highlights
I had a race Sunday November 9th pulled hole shot was 1st the first 3laps got stuck in a mud hole then 2nd place passed me then I was playing catch up but I got 2nd in my class out of 8 and 15 overall out of 42 so I'm happy only 2nd race of the season on s new bike so recently I've done really good at mountaineer run gncc I pulled hole shot was first for like 4 laps till a big crash though me back to 6th manage to push hard come back up to 5th for the day out of 15 and 156 overall out of 366 very happy with that then I raced mountain ridge gncc 2 weeks ago foggy and rainy cold but 2nd off the line first into the woods got a big lead until the mud hole got the best of me fist lap fell to 6th place pushed and pulled 4th out of 12 and 43 overall out of 184 I told my self I would get Top3 the next race so powerline park was yesterday on October 18 I pulled 2nd off the line 2nd into the woods ended up 1st jumped the mud hole at powerline and got in the lead, lead it for a lap or two Jacob eddy manage to find a better line and pass me and I fell to 2nd and then I was pushing my self to the limit had a few more mistakes wish costed me to come in 3rd place on the podium out of14 and 111 overall out of 457 racers in the am. At ironman gncc I got 2nd off the line first in the woods I took the win at ironman gncc 1st out of 33 and 110 out of 857 racers THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR OF GNCCS
