Personal History

I grew up racing until I was 15, when I stopped to pursue a career in basketball. Now that I am no longer playing basketball, I have begun racing Cross Country once again. Last season, I began racing all MidWext XC and IXCR races, as well as some GNCC’s and NEPG’s before tearing my ACL. Due to that injury, my season was cut short. Before my season ended, I began getting some good results with a few top 3’s in the races leading up to my injury. I also race vintage cross country and motocross at national and local AHRMA events. I raced a 1981 Maico 490, where I Finished on the podium six out of the ten events I raced at. Due to being 7’1 and 250 pounds, myself and my bike tend to draw a lot of attention. People love to check out my bike up close to see what kind of modifications we have done to fit me. With that being said, I am a walking billboard for my sponsors.

Riding Goals

Coming off ACL surgery and moving from Indiana to Arizona, my goals for the 23 season is to get used to racing in the desert and compete for podiums in Open B as well as overall B. Going into the 24 season my goals will shift for competing for the Open B title for AMRA, before moving up to Open A the following season.
