Background: I’ve grown up in Southeast Texas riding motocross from the early age of 5 years old. I never got to race as much as I wanted to as a kid because I had no one to bring me to the races. I’ve never gotten to experience any of the big amateur nationals and it’s something I want to do for 2013. I rode off and on until 2009 when I quit riding completely. Fast forward to now. I’ve relocated to central Texas and am going to college at Texas State. I bought a CRF 450 this July and after 3 years off the bike I’ve been working on getting my speed and endurance back. I ride as much as I can, being a full time college student. I’m finally in the position in life where I can get my self to the races and experience big amateur racing.
Results: As previously noted. I’ve been off the bike for 3 years, so I don’t have any recent results. I’m getting close to race shape now and I’ll have some results soon.
Goals for 2013: I plan to race as many local races as possible and progress my riding abilities as much as I can. I’m going to try and do all of the Texas amateur nationals and Loretta qualifiers. My personal goals are to be in the top 5 in all of my local races and top 10 in the amateur nationals.
What I can do for you: I feel that getting support from companies deserves a lot more than a sticker or two on the dirtbike. Supporting me as a rider means that I will be an ambassador to the brand and product. I’m a very sociable person and I’m constantly meeting new friends in the pits and networking as much as possible. While I may not have first place results and be winning every weekend, but you can count on me to be at the track every single weekend representing the product and convincing other riders that your product is the best in the respected category.
