Personal History
Im Derek And I Am 21 Years Old, I Love Racing Motocross, And I Enjoy Being At The Track With All My Friends And Just Getting To Ride With Them. I Train Myself With Weightlifting At The House With A Few Friends On A Every Other Day Basis, Riding My Bicycle 100 Miles A Week For Cardio With A Few Buddies Of Mine That Also Ride And Riding At Least 3 Times A Week. I Work Full Time Currently But A Rider At Heart So Every Chance I Get Riding Is In My Mind, What Can I Say? I Love The Sport
2010- (To Be Continued)
May 09- I Finally Got My 250F Back And Its Nastier Than Ever, Which I Love It Compared To What It Was. I Broke It In On The 9th And Actually Rode It Hard The Next Day.. Overall I Love How It Feels And Im Hoping To Regain My Speed Back Fairly Fast Since Ive Had So Much Down Time But Still Have Been In Training. I Have 2 Private Tracks Ive Been Riding Alot Lately To Try To Build That Endurance And Corner Speed Back Up To Regular Pace, I Hope All Goes Well And Back On Track Within A Month Or So So That I Can Start Racing Again And Be At The Front Like I Used To Be.. A Big Thanks To All My Sponsors Giving Me The Right Deals Im Able To Continue To Ride And Make A Living On My Own.. Yes Its Hard But I Cant Just Quit This Sport, I Just Love It To Much!
2009 Now That I Am Living In My Own Apartment, Learning Responsibility, And Trying To Find A Job That Pays, I Think Im Trying Pretty Hard Between Making Ends Meet To Keep On Living Everyday, And To Try To Race Motocross.. Ive Been Through Alot Already For This 2009 Year. The Money Problem Of Just Wanting To Ride.. Ive Been Over A Friends House 3 Times A Week Practicing On Corner Speed And And Endurance Since I Haven't Raced Since April Of 08 In The FLMX Series So Im Just A Bit Behind My Normal Pace.. Looking To Get Back Up On My Feet Again And Start Riding Harder Than Ever.. Practice Makes Perfect And Seat Time Is The Key, And Thats What I'm Going For.
2008 Season is Here.. Ive Been Training Night And Day For The 2008 9th Annual Florida Motocross Series. I Think Im Gonna Do Pretty Well, And Im Still Trying To Get Used To The New Leatt Brace, It Has Def Made Me Feel Safer, But Has Changed My Riding Position A Little Bit.
