Personal History

My name is Derek Pearse. I just turned 9 years old and enjoy many different formats of motorcycle racing. I participate and excel in multiple formats of off-road racing including endurocross, hare scrambles and GP style races (such as WORCS races). I also enjoy racing motocross and arenacross. 2011 was my last year competing in 50cc classes. I have also raced my 65cc bike for the last year and will do so in the future. I hope to add an 85cc bike this winter!

Riding Goals

For the upcoming year, we will race the entire MRP Endurocross Series (6 rounds in Montana and Idaho), all MRP Arenacross races (8 rounds again taking place in Idaho and Montana), select WORCS national races (including Washougal and Payette), Washougal National Amateur Days, select P.R.O. Northwest National MX races and for the first time we plan to attend the Big Sky XC race in Montana.

My main goals are to win the MRP Endurocross 65cc points title, win both WORCS races I attend and place on the podium at the Washougal National and the Big Sky XC race in Montana.

Competitive Highlights

In 2011 I was able to finish on the overall podium 28 times! I was also able to score 25 moto wins in various forms of racing.

My favorite race of the year was the WORCS National in Payette, ID. It was the first national race I have ever attended. The track was tough but I was able to finish over 4 minutes ahead of second place!

Another highlight was attending amatuer days at the Washougal MX National. I was able to walk away with a 5th overall finish on 5-4 moto scores. I was especially proud of this finish as I had never been to this track before!
