Personal History
I am a 16 year old young man that lives in Ridgeway, Virginia. I am fairly new to racing, 2008 is my first year racing for the championship in the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series. I balance racing the local circuts with my school work in which I am enrolled in many duel enrollment classes. I maintain a 3.5-4.0 GPA during the school year, and practice in the off season. I have a training regime that I follow in order to stay in shape for the many types of racing that I do (Motocross, Supercross, Hare Scrambles, and Cross Counrty events).
Riding Goals
My goals for the coming year include many things such as, improving on my finishing results, contesting in the championship, and maintaining my grades in school.
Competitive Highlights
I feel that at every race that I attend, my knowledge and skill improve exponentially. I have improved a lot from the begining of the year and plan to only keep improving. My best finish so far has been at the VCHSS round at Tidewater. I started the race in second place and ended up finishing in fourth place. The terrain was sandy, and it was around 112 degrees including the heat index that day. I believe that my fitness was up to par and better than most of the riders out there, so I out performed them.
