Personal History
Hi my name is Deegan Gates. I am from Bakersfield california and I attend liberty highschool as a junior. I am 16 years old and dirtbikes have been my passion since i was 3-4 years old. I love to hangout with my family and friends. i’ve recently started taking racing more seriously. I race the swapmoto race series and i got 1st in my class. I am a novice C-class rider and love to compete.
Riding Goals
I ride as exercise and it is one of the things i love to do with my days and weekends. I ride 2-3 times a week, i try to go on monday, wednesday, and saturday. I love the adrenaline and excitement from racing. i plan on training and working hard during the off season and attending cal classic and next year hopefully attend mammoth. Loretta Lyns would be my top goal for the future but money is the only issue.
Competitive Highlights
I continue to grow every week with my riding skill. I would consider myself a fast learner on the bike and will do anything i’m told if it makes me go faster on the bike. i recently received a number one plate while racing this past week.
