Personal History
I'm 23yrs Old and have a wife and 2 children aged 4yrs and 18months old.
I have been around motocross bikes most of my life and have always dreamed of racing them. Agreed i am a late starter in the motocross scene but i believe i have the passion and talent to perfect and become a successful A grade rider. My dream now would be to continue improving and within 3years be promoted to Grade B and within a further 3years gain promotion to Grade A and then make my mark within and become a top rider within the A Grade. I believe that these goals are SMART.
Outside of motocross I hold down a full time job as a supervisor in the Health Service and also enjoy playing football (Soccer), I have played for a number of teams over the years and last season we managed to win the league. This season I am currently being scouted by 4 new teams so far, but unfortunately due to the amount of money invested in my motocross and my passion for the sport the football now has to take a back seat although I will still be able to play in the Health Service Team.
Riding Goals
I have always set my sights high and push myself to achieve these goals. Having only recently entered the racing scene i am running behind the targets i would have had liked to achieve this year.
I want to finish in the top 20 of the main championship and have a top 15 finish in the smaller championships. Next year my aim is to have top 10 finishes every week but continue to push for the top spot.
Competitive Highlights
My main competitive highlight would be an 11th place finish in the solo support of the British Quad Championship, where the track was alot rougher than what im used to because of the quads and also being up against tougher riders from the Motorcycling Racing Assosciation Ireland, which has some highly talented and competitive riders.
