Personal History
My name is Dayton and I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 5. My family is big on camping and riding. We used to have quads and moved up to dirt bikes and never went back. I started racing MRAN locally just here and there until 2011. I raced in MRAN's GP series and ended up winning the series championship in the 50cc class. 2012 I raced MRAN's desert and GP series as much as possible in the 65cc class and in WORCS 65c class. I ended up winning the WORCS 65c championship. 2013 I moved up to 65B in WORCS and currently running 2nd place in points. I also raced Sandy Valley MX spring series on my 65 and 85. I took 1st in the series in my age group, 9-11, 1st in series 65 open and 3rd in series 85 7-11.
My passion is dirt bikes! When I am not practicing or racing I like to hang out with my friends and ride scooter or bikes. I love watching supercross! My two favorite riders are Chad Reed an Ryan Dungey.
Riding Goals
My goal for 2012 was to improve on my 65, as it was my first year racing in the 65 class. I surpassed my gaol and became the 2012 WORCS 65C class champion. My new goal for 2013 is to take the 65B class Champion if not move up to the A class with WORCS.
I want to race as many races as my family and I can get to this year. I just raced on my kx85 for the first time in February 2013. I want to improve on my 85 and be as comfortable on that as I m on my 65.
My goal is to be on the podium every race.
Competitive Highlights
2013 currently running 2nd in points with WORCS 65B class
2013 Sandy Valley MX spring series champion in 65 age group 10-12 and in 65 open . 3rd place in 85 7-11 class
2012 WORCS 65C class Champion
2011 MRAN 50cc GP series champion
My biggest highlight was winning the 50cc GP series championship with MRAN! That was such an awesome feeling to be able to show my parents that all the hard work paid off. Their hard work with helping me at each practice and race and my hard work as well. It was amazing!
Another highlight was when I took 1st place in the Primm, NV WORCS race. I was told by a kid that it was a super hard sand track and that I wouldn't do good. The kid had me so nervous that I was scared to go out there and race! Well, I went out there, did my best and took first place! It was a great feeling. It felt so good to go over to that kid and hold up my first place trophy!
