Personal History

My name is David Senecal. I am from the small town of Stamford, located in southern Vermont. From ayoung age I have been riding dirt bikes, atv's, bicycles, snowmobiles, and basically any type of recreational vehicle. About 15 years ago I was introduced to hare scrambles when my brother competed for the first time. Since then I have been going to the races every sunday all summer long and it's been a blast. Two years ago I bought my own bike and decided to try racing. Now I'm hooked and I look forward to hitting the road every sunday to pound some laps.

Riding Goals

For the 2009 racing season I have a few simple goals. First and foremost I intend to put all of my effort towards being promoted to the expert class. In doing so I will accomplish my other goal of representing my sponsors with a positive image and competitive results.

Competitive Highlights

In 2007 I started racing in the novice 125cc class. My first race I finished 2nd, followed by a win, and then another 2nd. At this time I was promoted to the amateur class where I entered the 200cc class. When the 2007 season ended I was ranked 5th in my class. The 2008 season started a little rough with some bike trouble and a few poor finishes. I bought a new bike and everything clicked. I finished in the top five in eight of thirteen races and logged my work credit at another to round out the season. Unfortunately an amateur class win has still eluded me, however  I closed the 2008 season by winning the class championship.
