Personal History
I am a 30 year old intermediate rider in southern Ontario, Canada. I live here with my wife and our family of pets. They consist of two huskies named Nymeria and Ellie and a cat named Peach. I'm a realtor in the Toronto area and try to get out riding 4 times a week, generally 3 practice and a race. Dirt bike riding started for me at the age of ten. My uncle got my cousin a PW50 and we all took turns riding it up at the cottage. As time went by we got older and I bought myself an '84 Honda XR 250. She was old and heavy but she was mine. A few years later my cousin introduced me to Gas Gas, a company I have grown very fond of after purchasing my old 2001 XC125 in 2007. I rode that bike up at the cottage for 5 or so years, just putting around trying to get and trail riding. The cottage was sold shortly thereafter and I was lacking places to ride and people to ride with. Fast forward to 2014 when some buddies brought me to my first XC and I was hooked. The following spring I purchased my Beta 250rr. I ride because when I'm out on the bike nothing else matters. It's me, the bike, and the terrain. I still get the same feeling as I did when I first got on a bike at 10 years old, just with more confidence, more skill and a better bike.
