Personal History

With a career in Law Enforcement, I use racing as an outlet to decompress and let it all out on the track. I've been a lifetime athlete participating in several sports throughout college.  By far, Motocross is the most challenging and the sport I am most passionate about.  I started racing the 125/250 class and found that I would be more comfortable on a 450.  I currently own a 2008 Suzuki RMZ 450 with Showa suspension and Xyience graphics.  I ride well, but I just wish that I would have started sooner.  I won't make that same mistake with my kids.  At 5 & 6 years old, they have learned to ride their 20" BMX bikes.  Their quads/dirtbikes are coming soon.  At almost 35 years old, I race MX with the OTHG Sierra Chapter and Friday Nights at Sac Raceway.  James Stewart is without a doubt my favorite Pro MX Rider and it's time for him to bring home another championship.

Riding Goals

The '09 season was my first legitimate racing season.  My goals for my rookie year were to leave it all out on the track and finish every race!  This year, I need to defend my championship from the Fall series.  For that to happen, I will need to improve my turning, ride more aggressive, and use better than stock equipment.   In time, more victories will come as my confidence and experience continue to grow.

On October 25, 2009, I won the Vet-Class Beginner Fall Series championship.  This was my first full racing season.  The next season begins in April 9, 2010.  I'm looking to take the championship again and defend my rookie title!
