Personal History
Hi- My name is David King and I enjoy riding Motocross. About one year ago I got hooked on racing when my little bro took me to glen hellen to ride moto. It changed my life.
Previous to riding track, the family always went out to ocotillo wells multiple times a season where we rode as a family. As my brothers and I got older we started making more and more trips to ride and soon became very good at riding.
I currently race on a new 09 crf450r. The best bike ever! I spent what money I had on the suspension and tuning of the bike. Racing beginner class, I find myself at the top of the results page and am eager to start next year up front with the novices. I am very excited about this season.
Riding Goals
My goals this year include getting into better shape/ training more and achieving solid results in the novice class. I have realized how much being healthy and in good shape impacts race results and overall riding style. This is a goal that needs to be achieved soon so I can be competitive in the novice class this year. Also I would like to double my race entrees this year.
Competitive Highlights
Competing is so much fun I have tons of stories and personal favorite races. If I had to pick a highlight of my career it would be racing Adelanto GP where the 426 I was riding wouldn't start off the line and I finally got it fired about 5 min. back. I passed too many people to count and eventually caught my brother on the last loop. Also, any time you can catch, and pass a friend who used to be better than me Always feels good.
