Personal History

In the beginning of my racing career I started off in karting in the late 1980's and in the three years that I raced karts I won 5 Provincial championships and 2 Canadian championships, then I was onto Formula cars where I won the Canadian Formula 1600 and the Formula 2000 championships in the next two years.

The next year 1993, I raced in the Vauxhall Lotus championship in England where I finished 2nd. Upon my return to Canada, I was surprised to see that after very good testing sessions with teams in Formula Atlantics and in the Barber/Saab series cars (like European Formula 3) I was unable to get the proper sponsorship to continue. I then realized the politics' surrounding racing in North America and most probably Europe, whereas it is not necessarily your talent that defines your possibilities for racing but, partially who you know.

- 2010, With this in mind, I promised myself that I would come back to Karting one day with my own company and make sure to push the right drivers onto the next levels of racing. In 2010 we raced in a total of 5 races and accumulated three podiums in two different classes (Rotax Masters and Rotax Masters DD2). Most notably, we won the Monaco of Trois-Rivières in the Rotax Masters class at our third race (considered by most to be the highest profile Rotax series race in North America, over 33,000 spectators). We then changed classes and finished 3rd at the 2010 Canadian Karting Championships in the Rotax Masters DD2 class at only our second race in the class. Also, considering that we finished ahead of Scott Campbell later to become the DD2 Masters World champion.

- 2011, we raced a total of 5 races in order to qualify for the Canadian Championships where we won the Championship and ultimately represented Canada at the World Championships in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates against 265 of the best kart racers in the World. After finishing 9th at the Worlds after only 8 races in the class,

- 2012, we got a full sponsorship. After working out the kinks of a brand new chassis configuration we were again ready for the Canadian Championships and while being second after the qualifiers and Pre-Final, we were in first place in the final and experienced motor trouble that caused us to finish fourth.

- 2013, In only our first year with the Arctic Cat Wildcat and in off-road racing, we were able to do what no one had done before with an Arctic Cat, Win a major race in Canada and then did it again! This is a testament to our hard work in developing our Wildcat into the race win contender it has become. Ultimately, we built on these wins, our Vice-Champion title in the Open class and our 4th place finish in the 900-1000 Championship (even if we missed the first 3 races),but most importantly, our 2013 Rookie of the Year titles in both classes.

- 2014, we became the 12hrs of LaTuque Champions at our first try! This is the largest ATV race in Canada and among the largest in North America with over 35,000 ATV crazy fans... This solidifies our standing as the most successful Arctic Cat Wildcat team in North America.

Riding Goals

For 2021, we will continue to build on our great results from 2018 - 2019 and now aim to repeat as 12hrs of LaTuque Champions (40,000 spectators) and win the inaugural Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières Super UTV event (120,000 spectators).

I will be racing with a 2020 KTM 450 XC in the Quebec Provincial championship and also race a 2015 KTM 450 XC-W at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivière, where over 120,000 fans are scheduled to attend.

With your help, I stand convinced that we'll be a force to contend with, building on our stellar first years. With all my experience in representing companies I can assure you that the return on your investment will be beneficial within the first few months. I'm sure you're aware that Enduro's are the largest growing market segment in offroad, just in our geographical area it has grown by 165% in the last 3 years, whereas the rest of the market shrank by over 25%. Also, the Eastern Canadian market represents over 60% of all offroad sales in Canada, so it's a great way to get your company, products and services seen by retailers and ultimately end users.
