Personal History

My name is Davey White.  I am 32 yrs. old, 5'6" tall, and weigh 160lbs.  I currently live and work in Birch Run, Michigan.  I am a husband and father of a 4 yr. old daughter who is also an aspiring racer.  My wife Beth of 10 yrs., my number one supporter, is also currently pregnant with our second child.  We are very excited about having another child and our daughter is thrilled about being a big sister.  Career wise, I am an accomplished musician.  I also recently sold a commercial construction company that I owned and operated for 7 yrs.  We specialized in multi-trade construction for malls and resturaunts in Michigan.  It was a good time for us to sell, as a local competitor made us an offer and it was a very profitable opportunity for us.

In the meantime I have been preparring for the up coming local racing season where I will be contesting the 25+A class as well as the 30+A class.  I will be racing in an 8 race championship series as well as other random races within District 14 here in Michigan.  As for future employment, I am looking for an opportunity to work days in either the financial or insurance industry within an office setting.  I earned a Bachelor degree from The University of Michigan and am excited about starting a new career path.  My main race bike is a Honda CRF450.  It is outfitted with Factory Connection suspension, Works Connection, SDG, FMF, Dunlop, Twin Air, Renthal, and Trottle Jockey Graphics.  My practice bike is an 03 CR250 that I use as a training tool as well as a play bike.  I am the original owner of both bikes.

It is my goal on MXSponsor.com be noticed a bit so that I may earn a meager amount of sponsorship aid.  I am a good speaker and I know a lot about the Motocross industry as I have been riding and racing since age 4.  I keep up with all the up and coming products as well as professional racing.  I usually attend at least one Arenacross, one Outdoor National, and 2 Supercross races per year.  But the one thing that sets me apart from most racers and Motocross enthusiast is that I also am an accomplished musician.  Through writing and performing music I often meet a lot of different people and I often have an open forum to discuss my own opinions, political leanings, as well as my love of motocross during my concerts.  This same forum would also be a very valuable platform for expressing my support of products that I might personaly use and/or companies that sponsor me.  I often participate in the trackside ministry at our local track as well, MPX Racing in Sebewaing, Michigan.

Riding Goals

My upcoming goals for this year include being very competative in both classes that I will compete in.  I feel very confident that I will win the 30+ class.  I also want to be able to spread the word and importance of the products and companies that I represent in a positive and professional manner.  I will attend at least 2 races per month and I will also be very involved in going to other related Motocross events.  I will also be very vocal and knowledgeable to those not involved in Motocross, yet interested in the products and companies I represent.  I will make it a daily goal to use and/or be seen using the products from the companies that represent me if feasibily possible.  I will keep a very professional and crisp looking pit area when at practices and races to further promote myself and those that en trust me.  I will also always have a clean crisp bike as well as gear and riding gear.  My family often camps at the races, so we are seen by many others that are pulling in and out throughout the weekend.  We pride ourselves on running a professional and efficient operation.

Competitive Highlights

Last year I still placed 7th overall out of 45 in the 30+ class even though I broke my leg at work with 4 races in the series left to go.  I also placed 6th in the Toyota AMA Arenacross at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan last year.  I raced on and off growing up at local tracks yet never won a national amature championship.  I played starting point guard on my high school basketball team and played in a city basketball league while attending The University of Michigan.  The reason I am interested in a slight sponsorship aid is because this is the first year that I will have had the opportunity to fully emerse myself in my racing.  Growing up, my family could not afford the costs involved necessary to fledge a full scale competative racing schedule.  I paid for my own college and I paid for my own racing.  Therefore, it has not been until recently that I have been able to emerse myself in this endeavor because I now have earned the money to pay for it by working very hard and selling a company that I worked very hard to build.  This has been a life long dream of mine to race a full season uninterupted by work and financial disadvantages.  However, even though I have enough to get started I am still in need of additional sponsorship aid.  Every little bit would help.  I fully believe that with the current program I have set up with the help of some others such as the companies I already use and believe in, I will only suceed that much more.  Thank you for considering me.
