Personal History
Hello, thanks for reading. I live in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra and have been in NorCal for 30 yrs. Riding of all types is abuntant in this area. I have been riding motorcycles for 25yrs mainly Dirt and some Street. It has been of large part of my life for a very long time.
I just recently got into Supermoto riding in August of 2008 and have entered the Supermoto USA NorCal Series running #56. I got completely hooked on this sport from day one. If fits my riding style and picked up on it pretty quick. I plan on doing it for a very long time.
Health and fitness plays a huge part of my life as I am very competitive. I feel I need all the help I can get on the track and I know for myself, fitness will help me get there.
Riding Goals
My goals for 2009 are to try to run up front in the USA Supermoto NorCal Series in as many of the 8 stops as possible. Racing starts in March and runs until November. I hope to be in the hunt for a to 3 finisher at the end of the year. I run the Novice class and may also run another class depending on the stop. But Novice is where I really plan on focusing my goals.
Competitive Highlights
I just started riding Supermoto 4 months ago and was hooked from the first time I sat on the bike. I entered my first Supermoto Race on Oct 25, 2007 and ran both the Beginner and Novice classes. It was the last stop of the 2008 race season. Seeing as it was my first race, I had no points gained through out the season. My gate positions were in the back row for both of my qualifiers in both classes. Started 24th in Novice and ended the weekend in 10th over all. Stated the Beginner class in 17th. I actually got upfront in the Beginner main and led for 3 laps until I made some mistakes in the dirt section and ended in 4th over all.
Next year is a new year and I get to start fresh with everyone. I am very excited for it to start but at the same time am looking forward to as many practice track days I can get in until the first race starts.
