Personal History

I've wanted to race motorcycles for as long as I remember. My family didn't have the means when I was a child so I had a delayed start in motocross until later in life when I could afford it on my own.

After high school I joined the Navy that further delayed things. I'm a 8 year Navy veteran and have done several  deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. After an honorable discharge from the military in 2007 I finally had the means to swing a leg over a dirt bike consistently enough to gain the skill required to compete as I had always dreamed. After riding local tracks on practice days for a few seasons, my first MX race was in 2010 when I was 27 years old. I did horrible but the hook was set for life. Since then my results have steadily climbed to being a consistent podium contender at the local level in the 30+ (vet) classes.

Even after enduring multiple big injuries, including a fractured Tib/Fib in 2011. I've always bounced back better, more fit, more determined, and more committed to my passion of racing MX.

Riding Goals

My MX goal are as follows:

1. Have fun riding with the guys (and girls)

2. Be a better rider each time I ride/race, if even by a little bit

3. Be a positive ambassador for MX to help the sport grow

4. Compete consistently on the amateur national level in my age group

Competitive Highlights

My biggest competitive highlight is when I got my first podium finish/trophy in 2012. It seems one day I just suddenly, after a ton of work, became a top 3 guy each week. That has been the biggest reward from racing so far, consistent top 3 results on most weekends.
