Personal History
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Darlene Anzalone, and I am writing to you in regards to possible sponsorship for our youth mx race team, the Army Brats. To share a little bit of information about our team, my husband Eddie and I recently founded a motor sports company called V2 Motorsports in honor of our two young sons Vito and Vinnie. Eddie has honorably served his country in first the Marines and now the Army for the past 16 years. As my husband is getting closer to his time to retire from the military, we have been trying to think of something we could pursue together as a family. After so many years of serving our country, and traveling so often and being away from me and our boys, we wanted to create something that allowed us to spend more time together as a family, but also something that both of us had a passion for, and creating a youth motocross racing team was the perfect choice.
Eddie and Darlene Anzalone’ s oldest son Vito had his first race on April 27th at Windy Hill MX in Ellerbee, NC and he instantly fell in love with racing. As the family started practicing with the boys more, and attended a few more races, they met up with several other military families who also had kids that loved to ride and race. Soon after, was when Eddie and Darlene came up with the idea of creating a youth motocross team sponsored by V2 Motorsports (and now a number of other companies) called Team Army Brats. While the team is currently only made up by the Anzalone’ s two sons Vito (7) and Vinnie (4), Eddie’s and Darlene’s goal is to get to be able to recruit more members.
The vision for the team was to create something specifically for military families who were used to dealing with the stresses and hardships of long and frequent deployments. Often times left with dealing with at least one parent gone a majority of the time, motocross is great way to help teach military children the values of hard work, helping others, and gives them something extremely positive to focus on during hard times like deployments. The other goal that Eddie and Darlene have for the team, is to be able to provide support to military families for an amazing, but also at times expensive sport. Team Army Brats has been fortunate to have many great companies sponsoring the team for the upcoming racing season.
I thank you for taking the time to review our application and hope you will be able to offer up some kind of sponsorship for the 2015 racing season.

Riding Goals
Vito will be racing in the 50cc 7-8 class this year, he hopes to continue to use the skills he has learned working with his dad and various other trainers to have a great racing season. Vinnie has just started to ride his bike on his own and hopes to quickly transition away from training wheels and hopefully start to enter a few races this year in the 50cc 4-6 beginner class.
