Rider Updates

So I broke down and made the move to Alaska. Really felt bad about leaving the district 14 hare scramble series and all the GREAT people but Michigan just isn't what it used to be as far as job opportunities. Stripped the YZ450f and project RM500zilla, boxed them up and mailed them up to AK. Been here a week and already have a bike hauler pickup and all the parts have arrived in the mail along with a few new ones ;). After talking to a few local dealers I ever have had a few interviews for a service tech position along with plenty of info on where and when to ride. Things are looking good and calming down so I'll be posting more up soon.

15th round of the AMA District 14 Hare Scrambles was a definite hoot. 33 Motorsports up in Mio Michigan was the track this time. This place is HUGE. Big wide open moto track that's real easy to ride. Huge flat grass sections that got real fast at times, an endurocross section that was mandatory, the pines section, water jump was brought back (awesome) and the small but ridiculously tight and muddy woods section all lead to great day of riding and a 3rd place finish for me. It was a tight 2 hour race with quite a few battles and plenty of action. Wish I hadn't lost my GoPro a few months back...

14th Round of the AMA District 14 Hare Scramble series was a blast like always. It's at the Portland Riders motocross track which they always do a great job of up keep. This time around we had a choice of going through the endurocross section or a bypass, of course I did the endurocross each lap. Was a fast track with some big open straights through a bean field then back to their grass twisty-hilly section then the always slick black dirt short woods section. Rode hard and smooth with a few tip overs in ruts and even got in a small whip next to the spectator jump. Pulled a 5th but the guys in the B class are strong guys that are placing ahead of Expert 2hr riders.

13th round of the AMA District 14 Hare scramble series was at the Battle Creek grounds a second time this year. This place is always a great place for a race. They switched up the moto track a little bit and did an awesome job of making the track PRIME to ride on. We rode the woods section which with the track and woods we did about 8 miles total. Woods was prime from the guys tilling up the single track and the endurocross section was reworked a little.
Had a few slow speed falls on the bike but I thought overall I did a great job at keeping a steady pace. We had a few new comers to our B class and I placed 5th of 8 behind the normal 1st place B rider. Out of 68 2-hr riders I did place 13th overall so not too shabby at all.
