Personal History
My story starts out growing up in a small town in mid Michigan living the struggle with my single mother. Got into tearing apart everything in the house to see how it worked then when I got into bmx the bikes started getting ripped apart too. Good friend Isaiah White invited me over to his dads at about 10 years old where it all began... rode on the back of his 1979 Honda CT70. After ridign his atvs and Yamaha RT100 I started begging and before too long my brother had bought me a 1998 RM125 when I was 13. Never having money it was hard to get out and ride much but I soon got the reputation as that long haired punk that either crashes every time we ride or breaks something. Luckily I kept up on wrenching and loved doing all my own work, which at first was not too pretty. Fifteen years old came and down the rode I up traded to a 1990 KX500. If I ever got anything out of that bike in the next 10 years it was throttle control. Made bad decisions in high school, didn't ride much but then a few years later I got to live out the dream of moving to Orlando to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Best 2 years of my life followed. I had to work 2 part time jobs, ate oodles of noodles everyday and barely made it but I had showed my potential and graduated the Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki programs all with flying colors. After crashing my Husqvarna supermotard everyday commuter I then had to mover back here to Michigan. Finally got a job in the motorcycle service industry for dirt pay at a few places and then eventually was forced to get a factory job with higher pay and health insurance so I could keep dinner on my table. While working at a Yamaha dealer I had purchased a new 2011 YZ450f and it's what I've been riding for the last 3 years. I've spent countless hours maintaining this bike along with other bikes I've bought and sold just to keep my skills sharp. It's been a long hard rode but I am in a stable part of my life and am proud to be involved with everything and everyone in the motorcycle scene.
