Personal History
I rode a little in high school, but it was always on a buddy's bike. After we arrived at a place, we would lay out a small track and time each other or take turns trying to climb some small hills. It was not very often and we never took it very seriously. In 2011 at the age of 44, I bought a 2002 ktm 400 exc and was planning on riding for fun. I started riding with some guys that raced and my competitive side kicked in and I entered my first race and I was hooked. I ran the 2011-12 season and then took the following year off. Before I could start racing again that circuit folded. I could only go trail riding or motocross and motocross is not my thing. In 2014 a new circuit started and I ran the 2014-15, 15-16 and 16-17 seasons and have had a blast. Right after the 2014 season started, I upgraded to a 2014 ktm 350-xcfw and I love it. I have a very supportive wife that is my pit crew, cheerleader, and best friend. We bought her a 2012 can-am ds250 4-wheeler, and she enjoys riding some trails and finding different places on the track to take pictures during the races.
Riding Goals
My goals would be to continue listening to the guys that take time to try and help me and then put that into practice and continue to get better and faster.
