Personal History

I am 24 years old. I grew up riding dirt bikes, then switched to a street bike when I turned 18. Just before I turned 20, I enlisted in the Army and did not ride until February of 2011. I bought a 2002 Honda CRF450R. I found a local track to start riding on and the track owner talked to me about racing, so I started racing the Wiregrass Motocross Championship. This year, 2013, I bought a 2007 Honda CRF250R, and I am currently racing the 250C class. I plan to continue to move up in the classes! I have a son who will be 3 years old on March 10th. He just started riding his first 50 with training wheels! He is my inspiration for bettering myself, but not getting hurt. I am very laid back and easy to get along with, but I have a strong work ethic. I try to make friends with everyone both on and off the track.

Riding Goals

I would like to continue to move up in class, and as long as my son stays interested in the sport; I will continue to support him.

Competitive Highlights

I fell back from fifth to 8th after losing my clutch handle in a turn last season. I worked my way back up to 3rd before falling again and finishing 5th. Not a podium finish, but a race I will remember for a very long time!

The Wiregrass Motocross Championship, round 3, on April 28, 2013: I was dead last going into the first corner and worked my way up to 2nd by the end of the second lap, overtaking 7 people during the race to finish in second.
