Personal History

March 27, 2015

Well, what can I say? 2014 was a year of family growth. We brought in our baby girl Mia, and we also put an addition on our home. With all that going on, I personally cannot make the mental, and physical commitment it takes for me to be satisfied with my motocross effort. Therefore, I had to table moto and I rode for fun about 5 times all year. Now, here it is March 2015, and I have the green light to go moto in my own head. I'm excited, and nervous to see if I am capable of riding at a level I can be happy with. I've put constant work in at the gym all year, so strength, and condition shouldn't be too far off on the mx bike. The comfort I had with my scooter is what will take some time to get back! Like I said, I'm nervous, scared, and very excited to see where 2015 takes me on the moto journey. Thanks for reading

April 2014 Additional Info-  Riding and practicing a couple times a week now that the weather has broken from the winter freeze. Training in the gym has helped tremendously with strength on the bike. I like long walks on the beach. Sushi and all that!

My name is Danny Campora. I LOVE Motocross!  I work as an Engineer in the Telecom Industry. I have been committed to the Telecom industry, since I graduated from Devry University in 1998. I got married in July of 2010, we have a baby boy who was born on April 1, 2012. My wife is Dina, and she is the best!

Now for the motocross part... I have been riding a dirtbike since I was 10 years old. I always loved moto, bmx, and skateboarding since that age. I did not start racing until the year 2000. I raced in the 125 novice class for a couple of seasons, then got into riding the bigger bore bikes in 2003. I raced 1 season in 250C(2 stroke era here), and then got moved up into the B class. I raced roughly 7 - 10 races a year from 2004 thru 2007. I managed quite a few top 3 finishes in the B class, and even won a race at Atco raceway. Then I took some time off from racing, and just continued to ride practice tracks. Now in 2011, I am racing again, and really excited about it!

Feel free to drop me a line, I love talking moto, and really enjoy everything, and everyone involved in motocross.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2015 are to first of all, feel that flow again, then perhaps I can have fun racing in the 25+ B, and 30+ B classes locally here in District 34/6. I aim to be where I was in 2013 which is consistently in the top 3, with a win or two or three.... Hahaaa!

Competitive Highlights

2000 Budds Creek National - 3rd place in the 125 C supercross night race. (won a cool plaque, and got Pastrana to sign it)

I've raced against a lot of the pros you see on TV now. Every year at the Englishtown Kawasaki Race of Champions the top Amatuer kids would show up, and race the B class. I've race Ryan Villopoto, Kyle Chisolm, Austin Stroupe, Jason Lawrence. I have no problem saying that those guys beat me!

I've won 25+B at Atco Raceway before.

I consider every weekend racing is a competitive highlight because motocross is a very tough sport, and physically demanding. So finishing motos consistently with the battles in between are major highlights.
