Personal History
I am a college graduate (3.98 gpa), a Property Manager by trade, and I've been in my career now for the last 7+ years with the same company. More importantly, however, I am a proud father of two. As a family we enjoy visiting with friends and family, racing motocross, camping, and watching many different sports....motocross and supercross racing being at the top of the list of course. If we aren't having fun away from the house we are perfectly content kicking back on the sofa catching up on the shows we've DVR'd.
Riding Goals
I vividly remember being 8 years old when my Uncle Brian taught me how to ride a Honda Z50 and I loved riding motorcycles ever since. At 12, I was riding my Uncle Al's Yamaha IT 465. My family always said "if you can start it, you can ride it"...so ride I did! When my son was born in 2009 I sold the bike I had at the time, a 2007 CRF 450R, and I felt like a piece of me was missing for the next 8 years until I bought my 2016 CRF 450R. My children are obviously my #1 priority, so I waited to get back on a bike until they were older and showing the same interest in motocross that I had at their age.
At 35 years old I'm going to be realistic with my goals as I don't want to get carried away and wind up injured again like I did in 2017. I would like to win some more races and hopefully a championship in the 35 + C class. Then at some point in the next year or two I would like to move up to the "B" class.
Competitive Highlights
I've had a number of top 5 and top 10 finishes in Open D, 250 - C (formerly 125 - C), 450 - C (formerly 250 - C), 25 + B, and 35 + C. My best and most consistent results have come in my last 3 races where I finished 2nd, 3rd, and 1st respectively. I feel great on the bike and I'm hopeful to keep this momentum rolling!
