Personal History

I was born in Duncan British Columbia in 1997. I was given a Honda 50 at age seven and began trail riding with my father. When I turned eight my family moved to Regina Saskatchewan due to a work transfer. This was where the trail riding ended and the track riding began. I entered my first race in the 65cc class at age eleven. As a result of a tight budget we only went to a few races a year. An opportunity then arose in the form of a southern Saskatchewan exclusive series. We decided to race and I ended up fourth overall upon its conclusion. This became a trend as each year (2008, 2009, and 2010) I finished fourth overall. In 2011 my family moved back to BC, landing in Nanaimo. I had outgrown an 85 in about eighteen months, causing a lack of success. (Being to small to fit an 85 in the middle of 2011 and being too tall by the end of 2012.) I was also very uncomfortable on my 125 in 2012. I ended up having multiple dnf's due to bike failure and crashes. I had one of my most successful years in 2013, where I had the opportunity to move onto the 250f. The first few races of the year continued to be rough. Eventually my sails caught wind and the results started to improve. Due to previous accomplishments in this class, I aspire to conclude my junior journey in anticipation of moving into the intermediate class for 2015.
Throughout this journey I have maintained a high personal education standard. Incorporating non-academic classes, my current average grade is 88%; excluding these courses results in an average of 90%. I strive to reflect my faith in the Lord through my actions on and off the track. I have to challenge myself in this portion of my life when it comes to managing a short-temper.

Riding Goals

My personal riding goals are focused around doing as well as I can. To pull off the track feeling as though I gave it my all, is the objective for each race. Ultimately I would prefer to move into the intermediate class within the year or so. With an attempt to qualify for the Nanaimo Canadian National incorporated into the first year of this transition.

Competitive Highlights

When it came to the 65cc class, I had many podiums and a few wins. I finished fourth overall in the 2009 and 2010 seasons of this class

My best results in the supermini class were a fourth in the last race I had at Regina, and a second in one of my first races in BC. I also finished fourth in the 2010 series in both 85cc and supermini classes.

Last year in the Junior class I finished fifth (mx2) and third (gp) overall. I was also awarded with the VIMX Award for the most improved Junior of the year.
