Personal History

My name is Daniel Davis and I've been riding motocross for 20 years. It has been a journey to get to the point in my life to where i'm at today. Motocross has not just been a weekend sport to me it's been a life for me. Ever since that first time I lined up on that first gate everything changed. It made me think. It made me feel at one with the machine. Like you were at peace out there on the track just you and the bike. After that weekend I couldn't get enough. I felt I had to be at every track I could get get to. Still today when I line up on the gate I still get that same feeling like it'd the first time all over again. I started racing in 125 and rode them for a few years and worked my way up to 250 novice. I got injured and broke my arm bad. Came back the following year and did good till the end of season and I got landed on and broke my other arm. I took off of racing for a  few year or so and got back into riding. Now I'm healed up and have my own track at my house were I ride almost every day. Now I'm older I try and race in the +25 or over 30 class. This year I plan on trying to hit up as many races as I can.

I've competed in a lot of races, organized practices, and trail rides. If there was a ride happening I would try to join the event if possible. I would say in the last 10 years or so we have had a very good riding group form here in my area we travel almost every weekend to the motocross track close to us. We have a group of 10 to 12 riders that frequently travel together and ride. We try to hit practice every weekend when the tracks are open and we race there events when there holding races. There are quiet a few track around this area that have really grown in the last few years and motocross has become a pretty big. It is something I will always support and it has help me and my family grow as well thanks you.
