Personal History

I am 39 years old and live in Stratford, CT.  I am a Torrington, CT Police Officer.  I was in the US Army for 13 years and performed as a Drill Instructor for the last 3 including a trip to Iraq where I served for about 1 year. I have been racing motocross since the mid 90's. I was racing Supermoto since the end of '05 when I returned from Iraq until mid 2009. I quickly progressed through the levels of racing and won the ESMRA SM1/Open Expert Championship for 2007 and in 2008 I obtained my AMA Pro license.  My racing career got put on hold when I became a police officer and started a family, but I have been racing at our local club in the 30+ Expert and 450 Vet Expert classes in the Fall Series(7 races).  I finished 2nd in points for both classes for the Fall2013 Series and 4th Overall for both classes for the 2013 season.

Riding Goals

My goals for this coming year are to compete in as many local and regional races that I can.

Competitive Highlights

I think my biggest competitive highlight would be competing with a racing legend and friend Doug Henry.  Although I was not as fast as Doug, it was great to be able to be on the same track and playing chase and also to have been instructed by him on better lines, and better riding techniques.  Also winning the ESMRA SM1/Open Expert Championship would not have been possible if Doug had not gotten me into Supermoto in 2005 and taught me some of the skills needed to win.
