Personal History

Hi my name is Dan Hoisington. I am a very motivated hard working atv motocross rider. I started riding quads when I was 15 and my older brother let me race his quad. I went out and won my first race ever since then it has consumed my life. I ride, train, and race. Im very focused and after an awesome 2011 season besides the mechanical failures. I am ready to win a college boy and production A national championship in 2012. I plan on spending the rest of 2011 riding twice a week at local tracks and heading to florida in january

Another big part of me riding is trying to get more kids and families involved in racing. The sport has died off a lil and im trying to do my part to revive it. I do my best to talk to younger riders and give advice as much as possible on and off the track.

I also have a full time job and am planning to go to college so I stay pretty busy. My boss is very supportive of my racing so it helps out alot. My parents help me out so much with getting me to the races and my brother who has pretty much a part time job working on my bikes to keep me going.

I plan on racing all of the ATVA ATV NATIONALS, some PAMX races, and C.R.A races in 2012. Maybe even a GNCC race as well.

Competitive Highlights

In 2009 I won the Ohio faircross series on a 450 quad at the age of 16.

In 2010 I won 2 450c class overall national races at Redbud and Steel City

In 2011 I finished the National series in 3rd place overall. With 2 first place finishes and a 3rd.

I had some unfortunate mechanical problems and missed a few races.

Also in 2011 I raced the Matt Bartosek race in A class and took the overall.
