Personal History
At age 8 Damon began a life of competition beginning with youth sailing in Southern California. Coached by former Olympic athletes and Americas Cup veterans, Damon had the opportunity to learn what it means to be a true sportsman and successful competitor. As a teen this young extreme sports athlete moved to the mountains and began a career that would span over 10 years as a pro snowboarder working with the top snowboard companies as both a competitive rider and in product development, during this time he took interest in motocross and began racing in local amateur events and won numerous amateur championships.
In 2000 a serious knee injury put an end to snowboarding but the desire to compete was still strong so Damon relocated from the high sierras to Sonoma county to participate in a year long open wheel racing program and in his first year of competitive race car driving finished 2nd in the USAC Formula Mazda championship. At this time Damon was introduced to supermoto, a sport that combines dirt bikes with paved track and slick tires and was a perfect fit for the skills of this talented athlete. After a season of racing the amateur ranks Damon quickly progressed to the top ranks of supermoto racers winning a number of championships at the local level and finishing 4th overall in the 2012 SRC Supermoto Pro Nationals.
Over the next few season of racing Damon formed Team Mammoth Motorsports and began working with top motorcycle racers from all over the world. The 2012 season was a remarkable year for the team as our riders dominated the professional motorcycle racing scene, making this racing season our most successful in the history of the team with four of our top riders finishing in the top four in two different national series. This included, 1st overall and 4th overall in the premiere class ,1st overall in the lites class in the SRC National Supermoto Series and 3rd overall in the AMA Harley Davidson XR1200 series. In the AMA XR1200 series the team also showed their winning ways making history with a victory in the first Harley Davidson road race held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and their rider finishing 3rd place overall in the championship.

Competitive Highlights
Team Mammoth Motorsports is a subsidiary of miK nomaD Enterprises, inc. who also has interest in a multi-media company Wine Country Motion. This new start-up is operated by Kimberly Podolny and Mike Doran. Wine Country Motion provides the production expertise to develop the high quality media required to operate a successful motorsports campaign.
The relationship between Team Mammoth Motorsports and Wine Country Motion provides the team with a highly desirable position in motorsports marketing media. Since our media production is in house, our team has unprecedented access to high quality production that can be designed to fit into any campaign. Kim and Mike bring years of training and experience in both film, video, photography and digital media. Kim has a degree in film from UCSB and Mike is the chief photographer for both Sonoma Raceway(Sears Point) and Laguna Seca Raceway. The combination of Mikes experience in motorsports photography and Kim’s experience in media production bring together the ability to capture the live moment and present it in an exciting way.
