Personal History

Hi my name is Dalton Pahia, I was born on the Island of Oahu, in Kaneohe.  I attended Ahuimanu Elementary School, Kailua Intermediate and am now at James B. Caste High School.  I'm 14 years old and have been riding since I was 7.  When I started riding I did it as a hobby riding on the different islands in Oahu, Kaua'i and Maui.  When I turned 10, I became more passionate about riding.  All I did was watch motocross and outdoor races on TV.  It became hard for me to watch because I wanted to be the one on TV.  I told my parents one day that will be me that everyone is watching.  I then started to travel to California in February of 2011.  I raced at the World Mini Grand Prix and thought wow I have a lot of work to do to get to the next level.   I have been training with Tyler Kalisiak and Rockwell Training Facility this summer (2012).  My parents gave me this opportunity to see if this is what I wanted to do.  After riding and training here I have become even more passionate about motocross.  I am determined to someday make it as a Pro.  My mom had taken time off from her job this summer to support me.  My Dad was back home working and doing all that he can to keep us here for the summer.  As we all know motocross is probably one of the most expensive sports there is out there.  With that said I am asking for any type of support to help me further my career in motocross.  I would appreciate any type of support that the sponsors would be able to offer me at this time.  I  will continue to ride and train hard and try to make a podium finish each time.  I will continue to work hard back home in Hawaii and I know that I will make each sponsor proud with excellent results. Thank you.

Riding Goals

Right now I will be back in Caifornia on November 17, 2012.  I plan to train for a couple of days and then head out to Mesquite to do the Thanksgiving Winter Nationals on November 23, 24, 25, 2012.  I plan to come out in January of 2013 to do some of the California Gold cup series and some other local races.  I hope to make it to Loretta’s next year.  That is one of my biggest goals that I am setting for myself with many more to come.  I will continue to train hard back home in Hawaii at the Kahuku Motocross track.

Competitive Highlights

Spending the summer in California training with Tyler Kalisiak and Rockwell Training Facility.  I was able to meet Johnny Louch, Grant Langston, Brock Tickle, Christian Craig, Malcolm Stewart, Ian Trettle, Jessica Patterson, Vickie Golden and Javier Villegas.  I was excited to see Nico Izzi, Jake Canada, Josh Grant, Brock Tickle and even Rookie White on the track training.  It was just an exciting summer for me to see and meet so many talented people on and off the track.  I'm so excited to return in November.
