Personal History
My real name is Dalton Hicks, but everyone calls me Bubba. I’m 24 years old and from the small town of Montezuma, Iowa. I have been riding ATVs for the last 15 years of my life, and racing motocross for the last 12. I got my first national championship in 2013 riding in 450 A. I am a 2015 University of Iowa graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Interdepartmental Business Studies. I also have a full time job as the head mechanic at Fast City, Arctic Cat dealership, in Iowa City.
Riding Goals
For 2016, I plan on running the full GNC ATV series. I plan to compete in the Pro Sport and Pro Am class. It will be a step up from A class, but with school being over I have more time to focus on my training in the off season. My goal is to be in the top five of overall points, and get on the podium at least once throughout the season. I have made changes to my training and dieting program that will be better prepare me for the 2016 season.
For the past 7 years I have been a team rider for the Root River Racing Team. For 2016, I will no longer be a full rider for Root River; therefore, I will be putting my own program together. Now that I get to choose the products that I will be running, I want only the best components on my Honda 450r.
As a sponsored rider, I will promote your company with a professional manner on and off the track. Your company logo would be printed in multiple places on my graphics kits and on banners that I hang at the races. Also, your company would be recognized in any podium speeches, banquets speeches, and social media post about my season.
