Personal History

Hi, I am Dalton.  I am 7 years old & have been racing motocross since I was 4.  My parents bought me a PW50 for Christmas when I was 3 1/2 & I started out riding around the house with training wheels.  From that point on, Dad built me a track at my house so I was able to practice more & learn some of the techniques of riding.  I usually race every weekend at local tracks.  I have qualified for Loretta Lynn's Nationals two years in a row.  Last year I was running in 7th place, wrecked & broke my arm.  This year (2008) I had much better success.  I finished up with a 2nd place overall win bringing home 2 silver medals.  A kid out of Bermuda beat me out but I gave it my all & did my best.  I love motocross & would like to pick up some sponsors to help my mom & dad out cause it is so expensive for them.  Thank you for viewing my resume & we hope to talk with you soon.

Riding Goals

After coming home with a 2nd place in the Nation finish from Loretta Lynn Nationals, my goals are to just work on becoming a stronger, more focused rider.  I push my self in practice to make sure I am perfecting to skills that are the most important in becoming a better, faster rider.  I practice at the minimum of 2 days everyweek.  I believe that the only way to truely be at the top of my game is to practice, practice, practice.

Competitive Highlights

At Loretta Lynn Nationals 2008, I had to make sure every move, every corner, every jump was perfect.  2nd place was right on my back tire so I knew if I bobbled the least bit, he would go past me.  So I fought a good race & kept my position in second.
