Personal History
To start off , I’m just a man from a small town called Mercer Pa, grew up as a kid riding quads and dirtbikes. My family had a small town moto track in the late 70s into the 80s called “Huggy Bear raceway “, long before my time but riding is in my blood. Rode most of my child hood but never got into racing. Fast forward to my late teen years I got myself into the wrong crowd and ended up getting addicted to drugs, hard drugs! Messed up my life, jail time in my early 20s and all, was addicted to heroin and pills, now going on 9 years sober and clean I’m addicted to riding! Around 2015 on my road to sobriety I told myself a dirtbike and the woods I’ll keep outa trouble, now years later I’ve changed my life around, I’m happy married to my biggest supporter, have 2 beautiful baby girls, and I work to keep food on the table and bills payed, any extra goes to riding and racing
Riding Goals
My goals as a rider is to #1 have fun! Riding isn’t worth it if your not enjoying what u do best. I been on the KTM for 3 years now and have gained so much confidence and skill it blows my mind. The 2023 xc season is my first attempt at racing a series, and so far I’m in second in vet c points
Competitive Highlights
The 2023 AWRCS series is my first year trying to run the whole series, so far I’m In second in points, with a 3 place podium finish second race of the season
with the end of the 2023 season finally at an end, all I can say is wow what a freaking blast! From the highs to the lows, I've learn so much this year. From learning new riding techniques to learning how far I can push myself, all the way to learning just how welcoming the woods racing community is.
I managed to finish the season and hold a 3rd overall in VetC, which I'm pumped about. Last race round 10 at Rock run I felt on top, and managed to pull a holeshot and stay out front for my first class victory
