Rider Updates

I didn't make it to Fast Farms this weekend due to the constant rainy weather. Those who did play in the mud up there, I hope it was a lot of fun. I did, however, end up at Calhoun MX Park for rider appreciation night and raced up there in the mud. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be once I got the hang of the new track layout. My results were 2nd in the 65 7-9, 1st in the 65 open. I think there were about 5 or 6 in the class. I usually don't race up there but a couple of my mx buddies wanted me to go and ride with them, so I did.

I'm so pumped up about making my first area qualifer in 2014 @ Mill Creek!! 65 7-9 Limited 4th; 7-11 Mod 6th.

Today it snowed at my house in Newnan, Ga. Took a break from school work & warmed up. Lots of fun!

Went to Cullman, AL for indoor race. Placed 2nd 65cc (7-9); placed 3rd in open. The track was different from the last time I raced there.

Thor Winter Classic Mini O's: With only (3) months of training, I came up short on the SX track by missing the main heat by (3) spots. Consi #2, made a few mistakes, got stuck in the mud, finished the race. Not enough to make the main heat. The MX track, I made the main heat on my 50cc, the first try. I didn't qualify on my 65cc, managed between 25 - 30 position out of 40 racers overall. My parents gave me a goal for this week. They said "you're racing against the best riders who have been racing for 4+ years. All we want is for you to race your best, apply the skills you've been taught, & try to qualify." I did just that! Thanks mom & dad for believing in me. Now I know who I'm up against for 2014.
