Personal History
I'm your typical "weekend warrior" I work all week to pay the bills, and take care of my family first. I ride my bicycle to work every day (12 miles each way) to keep up on my cardio fitness, I do my TRX workout for strength, and I ride my KTM 2-3 weekends a month. I ride for fun, I race to get the best out of myself. I enjoy the whole experience of working on my bike, getting it all "dialed in" for a recreational ride, or a race, I take care to make sure everything is "right" so I don't have any mechanical failures. Well, that's my goal anyway... sometimes things just break!
I have been riding dirt bikes for as long as I can remember, minus time off for 8 years in the U.S.M.C., I really didn't ride much or even own a bike during that time.
I am a member of the Nevada County Woods Riders, an off-road club that puts on a few events each year and is dedicated to preserving our access to off highway recreation, I am also a member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition, the AMA and AMA District-36.
Riding Goals
My goals for competition are to finish in the top 3 in my class, improve with each round, stay healthy, and have fun! Everytime I ride, I push myself to be a little better than the last time. I like to say that I'm racing the track, not the other riders.
