Personal History
My name is Craig Tomlinson. I am 18 years old and pursuing a career in motocross. I currently live in Palmdale, CA. I enjoy road biking, going to the gym, and hanging out with my friends. Most of all though, I enjoy riding and racing. I started riding around 11 years old and began competing at 13 years old. Racing is what I have wanted to do all my life and it is what I plan on doing. I will not stop until I make it in this sport and I will do all that I have to in order to do so. I am very hard working in everything I do. I graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA and try my hardest in everything I do! I give 100% each and everytime I'm out on the track. This year things are looking very good for me! I received help from Motor Psycho Barn next year with bikes and traveleing to the amateur nationals and I am also currently training with Kyle Lewis. This is all I want. I will not let anyone or anything get in the way of my career in racing motocross. I am very dedicated and feel that I work harder than most. I train 5 days a week, waking up early in the morning and going riding, then go to the gym for a few hours or go on a road bike ride. I also represent myself as well as my sponsors in the best way possible on and off the track. I am very professional when it comes to representing my sponsors on and off the track as well. I would be a great representative for your company.
Riding Goals
In this upcoming year I plan on attending on the big events such as Lake Whitney , Oakhill, World Mini, Lorettas and so on. I am currently training with Kyle Lewis and I am really looking forward to getting out there this season! I will be racing many of the bigger series locally such as CMC Trans-cal, GFI, and the Gold Cup series. The decision of what class I will be racing next year isn't clear yet. I may remain an intermediate for 2009 or I may turn pro. The decision will be made based on how the rest of the 2008 season goes. In 2009 I plan on bringing home many great resluts from all of these events. I'm going to each of these events to give it all I have and come out on top. I have recently received help for next year with bikes and traveling to the nationals next year from Motor Psycho Barn, a local shop nearby. They recently purchased me two honda 450s. I am now trying to obtain as much help as I can get in other areas so that I can make these goals happen next year. I am very hard working and will prove to any of my sponsors that I am worth they're time and effort. I have never had the opportunity to make something happen but with Motor Psycho Barn stepping in this year I feel that I now have that opportunity. Please take the time to consider me as one of your riders for the upcoming season.
Competitive Highlights
I feel I have had some pretty good competitive highlights. However, due to lack of help and resources, my highlights may not compare to most others. My greatest accomplishment in my mind has been progressing as much as I have. I mean with as late as I started, I feel coming this far is an accomplishment it-self. And i still feel I have the capability and heart to accomplish so much more and acheive so much more! And this year that is what I am going to do. However, in 2006, I was lucky enough to attend Lake Whitney and actually brought home a championship. I went 1-1 in 125 C stock and brought home top five finishes in all other classes I raced. I also brought home a fourth overall in Mammoth in the C class that same year. Ever since then I have never really been given the opportunity to show what I've got for the int. class. I do very well locally in the int. class in series such as trans-cal or GFI and would definetely consider myself as a contender on the local and national level. I am a top three finisher most often and have my fair share of wins as well. This year however will be my chance to shine because I have finally earned the opportunity to show everyone what Ive got for 2009.
